CWCI Australia South-West Queensland National Safari

Southwest Queensland has enjoyed some welcome rain in recent months but still there are areas that have missed out. We join this region in prayer for rain where it’s needed and God’s refreshing on and in our land. We trust that people who need God’s refreshment will not miss out as the biannual, by-air, South-West National Safari begins on Sunday 26th May starting in Longreach. The flight path always changes in some way and members of the team may be new to the region. But CWCI is grateful for the welcome we repeatedly receive and the new people we are always meeting along the way. Beth Allison from Victoria will be the Speaker, and Wendy Weekes from Boonah is the Leader. The Outback Aerial Mission plane based in Longreach will be in service, with Steve Cavill their Pilot. Beth’s theme – ‘Jesus, our true north – Following God’s Compass’, will set the attendees’ focus clearly on Jesus, no matter what life is bringing, no matter the unknowns and changes they are facing. Some of the communities and towns to be visited, over 13 days are Isisford, Yaraka, Quilpie, Cunnamulla, Charleville, Tambo, Blackall, Longreach and some Stations along the way. Enjoy our visit to Outback Queensland everyone who comes along to a meeting (or two) and be blessed as you bless us with your welcome! The itinerary for the South-West National CWCI Safari is now available on our website.
