Introducing the KYB study: Rebellion and Grace – Romans 1-8

The newest KYB study has just been released. Shortly, groups from throughout Australia will be digging into the book of Romans in the New Testament. This series of 9 studies will look at the first eight chapters of Romans following along the theme of Rebellion and Grace. A later study will cover the remainder of the book.

The book of Romans is significant because it is centred on the gospel. It tells how we can be made right with God, saved from God’s condemnation and shows the unfolding plan of salvation.

Through the ages Romans has impacted the lives of many Christians. They have testified that this book was significant in shaping their Christian faith. Men such as St Augustine, Martin Luther, John Wesley and John Stott were converted through reading Romans or sermons based on it.

The writer of this study, Christina Keith, leads a KYB group herself. To help those wanting to gain a greater understanding of the background of Romans, or more insight into the content of the study, Chris has prepared an Introduction to the study. It is available for use by groups or individuals from the CWCI Australia website in audio and print version. It can be found at KYB Introductions – CWCI Australia

KYB groups and CWCI Committees throughout Australia also arrange various in person and online Introductions to each KYB study. At these events speakers will “introduce” the study in a similar way to Chris. Women everywhere are welcome to attend any these events. Being a member of a KYB group is not necessary.  To find out if there is an in person or online KYB Introduction suitable to for you to attend, click Events – CWCI Australia for locations and contact details.
