Christmas Closure – Head Office will close end of business on Monday 23 December and reopen on Monday 6 January 2025.
Thank you for your prayers, support and encouragement throughout this year. We wish you a blessed Christmas season.

Good, new things — prepared by God!

See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” — Isaiah 43:19

In 2020 we are definitely living in ‘new’ times. The word ‘new’ can bring a mixture of emotions for us. On the one hand ‘new’ can be unknown, scary, nerve wracking, a time of unusual levels of anxiety and worry. On the other hand, ‘new’ can be exciting, hopeful and bring new opportunities. Perhaps in small ways for some of us life has always been like this, however in 2020 this has escalated to unprecedented levels and has affected every single person on our planet.

We may not know or understand exactly what is happening, but God is certainly getting our attention. God is right here with us. He is creating opportunities for us, such as new ways of sharing the gospel. New ways of doing KYB; new ways of conducting training, and as we look to him, we are being made ‘new’ each day, transformed to be more and more like Jesus.

Something ‘new’ we are very excited about is the opportunity to collaborate with the Southside Committee in hosting an event, Prepared by God: Good works for women, this November 28th for KYB groups in the south of Sydney. The Committee will host the event and the Board will provide the content for what we feel will be a wonderful time of learning, sharing and encouragement.  This is a ‘new’ concept and while we hope to be able to meet in person, we will be able to hold the event online if restrictions prevent us gathering in person.  We look forward to opportunities to collaborate with committees across our region for similar events next year.

In these times of uncertainty, the one thing we can all be certain of is that God remains the same today, tomorrow and always. His word and character never fails or changes and the need for us to share his word with others remains a constant. The members of the Board are grateful and comforted knowing that God will be with us every step of the way, strengthening us as we walk into the new and unknown.

May God continue to bless you in all that you do, and may we bring him honour and glory each day.
