CWCI Australia Safaris – Northwest Victoria and Northern Tasmania
In late October 2024, CWCI AUS. Southeast Region enjoyed a Regional Western safari. Now National Safaris are coming through the northern border region and down into the Victorian central west. In 2023, a National Safari travelled through Tasmania. So, on this 2025 Safari, in the second week, the Northern area of Tasman will be revisited. The Tasmanian South will be visited in a future ‘Tasman-local’ safari.
Christine Quirk, from the Harbour Region will be the Speaker. She has many unique local communities to bless with the Word of our living Father God. The theme of her talks is “Jesus wants us to see His glory – and believe.”
The Leaders for this Safari are Ruth Jackson who is a true local Area Coordinator; and Soriya Suong, current CWCI Australia KYB Director, outgoing this year after 2 terms. Soriya is also a true SE Region local. This is a long Safari, but with three on board, they will be able to share the leadership responsibilities and the driving.
Starting at Albury in the Murray region of NSW -twin border town with Wodonga, Vic- the meetings proceed northwest then southeast. The next stop is at Tocumwal, or ‘Toke’ for short, a NSW border town in the southern Riverina, nestled into the banks of the Murray River. Numurkah follows in the Goulburn Valley region, then the team drives northwest to Echuca in the Murray River Region. Women from the NSW twin town of Moama will also join in these meetings. At Cohuna KYB ladies will provide a fellowship lunch and an opportunity for a more informal talk from Chris, and then the team head to Mildura in the Sunraysia Region. Next, Warracknabeal in the Wimmera, will host the team, followed by Granite Flat in the Mallee. The last stop in Victoria is Maryborough in the Goldfields Region. Many women from surrounding towns will make their way to these meetings, widening the reach of this Safari.
In Week 2 in Tasmania, the team will travel along the northwest Coast, after flying into Launceston. They will visit Boat Harbour, East Devonport, Beauty Point, and Worldview College, before heading east to Scottsdale in the Northeast Dorset Council area. The last meeting will be back in East Launceston across the beautiful Tamar River.
Please pray for open hearts and open minds for the attendees and that the Team of 3, will be open to the lead and wisdom of God’s Spirit, ever present and always knowing.
