This book is about Joshua, who led Israel after the death of Moses. But this book is even more about God who is faithful to his promises, and who fights for his people. And it is about the Israelites learning by experience what it means to trust God and take his word seriously, to obey him and live as his people.

Believers today also need to learn to live as God’s holy people, to listen and learn, to trust his promises, to face life’s challenges knowing God is with us and fights for us. There is much we can learn from studying the book of Joshua.
