National Safari to Tasmania

In a little over a week the 2023 National Safari to Tasmania will begin.

The TASMAN Safari of 2021 was a great success, after the disappointment of covid cancellations in 2020. Many of the 2021 Contacts are actively involved again hosting and billeting, which is so encouraging. With 16 KYB Areas, the Tasman CWCI story is rich and generational. There are many stories and testimonies in the collective memory of the Tasmanian KYB Community.

In this State, renowned for its National Parks, ancient forests, beautiful views, mountain roads, quaint villages and boutique food industries, the power and nourishment that God’s Word brings will satisfy at a much deeper level.

Jenny Nixon (CWCI International Board Secretary), from Victoria, will be Leader on this Safari and there will be a different Speaker for each week.

Week 1 will see Ros Murdoch, Speaker from Hobart, travelling with Jenny, in the South and into the North/North-East including Flinders Island for the first time, exhorting attendees to ‘Stay strong in the strength of the Lord’.

Week 2 will see Sue McTurk (Speaker from regional Launceston), and Jenny, in Launceston and surrounds and travelling into the North-East and Central-West to Zeehan, encouraging attendees through Topics in Revelation themed, ‘The Time is Near’.

The Lord travels before them, and with them, and will go into the towns behind them as they leave. The Lord will be at work through His Word as these treasured servants of His, seek to ‘grow women in Christ through sharing the Bible’.
